Franklin Photography Studios in Scottsdale specializes in pet portraits and is a pet friendly photography studio. While 99% of their work is done in studio, there is an occasional client who requests on location photography. Rates differ, depending on length of travel and location. Sometimes permits are required for on location photos so be sure to reach out well in advance to book. ( 2-3 months is a good time frame.)
For this image of beautiful Margeaux and her horse, we went on location very early morning before the Arizona sun had a chance to ruin our lighting. I did bring one light and a reflector on location with us, as after 8 a.m. we were already facing challenges of dappled lighting and bright sun.
