This is Pierre, a standard poodle. Pierre's owner relayed that he is quite obstinate. She stated he is mostly well behaved, but if he doesn't feel like cooperating it would be very hard to capture a decent photo of him. In instances like this, sometimes simple and fast are the best idea. The more time a pet has to cooperate, the bigger the chance they will feel completely over the entire photo shoot and all opportunities will be lost! In this situation the studio sets were all ready in advance. When he arrived he was given a few minutes to sniff around, and then taken immediately back to this futon, which was set up in natural light. We were able to photograph him here before he was aware of exactly what was going on, and then walked him through the other 3 sets of the day. What a fancy boy he is!
